Debate: Suppressing COVID - The Next Phase

My contribution to this debate in Parliament, this was an important debate focusing on our response to the coronavirus pandemic but also looking to life beyond the lockdown and to the Scotland we seek. I became somewhat emotional when talking about carers, a matter close to my heart and that of my family with the recent passing of my grandmother. There is a debt of gratitude to be paid to those workers, who are often undervalued and often paid the least - the very same people we have depended upon the most during the pandemic.
