Covid-19 has presented Scotland, as it has much of the world, with both an economic crisis and a health crisis. It has demanded a fiscal response that would have been unimaginable a few months ago. During the Government Debate I was able to outline my thoughts on our shared future and the Scotland that we seek. The big question is how we will support economic recovery without more borrowing powers and additional flexibility - will Westminster give us more powers or more money? Those of us who represent or were raised in Constituencies that still bears the scars of unemployment from the 1980s or the financial crash of 2008 will be desperate not go back to the future.
