The Vennie Project in Knightsridge took part in a Christmas card competition for Angela Constance MSP. The Vennie engages with children and young people ages 5-21, by supporting and assisting them to realise and fulfill their potential.
Last week, the winner Monika Noreika was presented with a certificate, and some goodies from the Scottish Parliament. Also receiving a prize was Katie Maclean for her wording “Merry the Vennie Christmas”.
Both girls received a printed version of their card designed for the Almond Valley MSP, which is now being sent to many organisations, local groups, colleagues and friends in the Constituency.
Ms Constance said –
“I was really impressed with the entries from the children at the Vennie. They were tasked with designing a Christmas card for me under the subject heading “Christmas in Livingston”. I would like to thank each and every one of them for participating. I am proud to place Monika and Katie’s designs on my Christmas card this year.”
