Re-elected for the 4th time - 4th biggest majority - 4th highest Vote!

Angela Constance has been re-elected to represent the Almond Valley Constituency in the Scottish Parliament. This is the 4th time she has been elected to serve as a constituency MSP securing 54.3% of the vote.  Angela has increased her majority to a massive 12,130, the 4th biggest of any MSP elected in the Scottish Parliament 2021 elections, and with 22,675 votes cast in her favour secured the 4th highest vote. 

Commenting after her successful re-election Angela Constance MSP said 

“I am thrilled to be re-elected for the 4th time to represent Almond Valley,  the Constituency I grew up in.  My heartfelt thanks to the 22,675 people who voted for me securing the 4th highest vote and majority in the Scottish elections.  I will be getting straight back to work, representing constituents, irrespective of how they voted, to the very best of my ability.  As we look to life beyond the pandemic,  there is much to do to ensure a fairer and more prosperous Scotland and our recovery needs to be built in Scotland based on our priorities and values.  The Pandemic has certainly shone a light on what we still need to change in West Lothian and Scotland, but it has also shown what is possible and what can be done.  I look forward to continuing to work with others to strengthen our communities of interest and place and want to put on record my thanks to the other candidates. “
