Angela Constance MSP was delighted to join the KNEC Listening Project this week, engaging with members and participating in stone painting activities. The Project, established by Kirknewton and East Calder Church in 2021, aims to bring people together for mutual support and community building.
The KNEC Listening Project has become a cornerstone of local community support, offering a range of activities including one-to-one listening sessions, craft clubs, and support groups. With the help of 20 dedicated volunteers, the Project has made a positive impact on many lives.
Angela Constance MSP remarked, "The KNEC Listening Project exemplifies the spirit of community and mutual support. It is heartening to see such dedication from volunteers and the real difference it makes in people's lives."
KNEC has recently launched a JustGiving page to further support their community efforts. Many contributions have been made in memory of a cherished attendee, reflecting the deep connections fostered within the Project.
